I Got A Key And Found A Treasure!

You will notice a strange gap on the days I have published new posts on this blog. Although my job requires to be online 24/7 (and I'm using this as an excuse to go OL all the time), I still do my very best to keep up with my life off the internet . Like I said, real conversation starts offline when we reach out to people. And this is what I've been doing since November.

I like following restaurants on Instagram (because I'm a foodie) so when FindSalt announced that they will be having another hidden pop-up burger shop, I followed ByParkers right away.

The Golden Rule: No Key, No Food

Yes, you can't order without a key (unless they say so on their social networks) and dear me, it's not easy to get hold of this golden key. Mr. Parker hides it at the most bizarre places in Dubai - the beach, the parks, the streets, sometimes even hanging on the branches of the trees! Follow them on Snapchat (username: ByParkers) so you can get one but I have to warn you: you need to be really quick if you want to participate on the key hunt. I got the keys from a friend because Mr. Parker wants it that way - he encourage sharing it with friends. :) 

Al Khazzan Solar Park is where you can find ByParkers, it is located at the corner of 22 D street right across the City Walk (click here to view on Google Maps). Most taxi drivers know this park as "the small solar park near City Walk".  If you have time to commute, take the Dubai Metro Red Line and get off Financial Centre Metro Station seaside. ByParkers is approximately 7minutes away from the Metro. 

The Menu And What We Ordered

The menu is temporary because the real one is in the works. Mr. Parker seems to spend a lot of time experimenting in his kitchen. He's currently doing his magic on his dessert options and I'm telling you right now that you will definitely drool when you see them on Instagram. It's divine torture. T_T

We ordered for us a Crunchy Chicken and Choco X Coffee sliders, Street Potatoes, coke and drink (I forgot what it is called but it tastes good). Choco X Coffee is heaven, I can still remember how it tasted. Street Potatoes - the bomb.

And these are my 2 favourites for now. I'd be coming back at ByParkers soon to try some dessert,  I'm pretty sure that it's worth the wait considering the time and effort Mr. Parker put on his recipe to make this pop-up shop work.
