Instagram&#39;s 12th Worldwide Instameet in Dubai

It was just last September when I started joining the Instagram community here in Dubai. Like I said, finding a community with like-minded people here is easy because everyone seems to be active online. And if you are a photo enthusiast with an average post of 2 to 4 photos a day supported with a number of hashtags, there's no other platform where you can find these individuals but Instagram.

It was a 2-hour event but with everybody's energy and with the colourful walls of Boxpark Dubai, we gathered together not just to take photos but to be connected and acquainted with one another. Here's a photo collection of what we had for WWIM12, I hope there's a next Instameet anytime soon.

Approximately a hundred plus Instagrammers participated in Dubai alone, separate Instameets happened in Sharjah, Fujairah, and Abu Dhabi as well.

Of course, my ever reliable room mate was there to give full support with my hobbies. He's the only person I know who never lets me down when I want to go for a photo walk. And so we took each other's photos.

And it didn't stop here. We had a few refreshments and I also had a crazy burger and cajun fries at Big Smoke Burger after the endless shooting here and there.

Didn't take this seriously though, but I was surprised to receive cool stuffs from the organizers.
